We are live!

We were not eaten by the Fleshlumpeater or the Bloodbottler!!!


We are so sorry friends!  We have been so very busy, We have had so many fun days here! Our Phizzwards came true! The Cubs WON the World Series! We are so flubberwoozy! (Can you guess what that means?)



We may have fallen a bit behind in the BFG. We are reading The Queen now. We are very excited to see if Sophie's plan works! We do not like all those mean giants!




We loved your dream jars! They were great!

What chapter are you on?

 We are having so much fun reading the BFG! 

We started the week off by enjoying some delicious frobscottle. Thank goodness there was no Whizzpopping  going on afterward. 

One of our classmates had a special shirt made to celebrate her favorite chapter...Chapter 10: Frobscottle and Whizzpoppers.

We are hoping that the BFG blows some golden phizzwizards into our bedrooms at night while we are asleep. 

To help him, we created our very own dream jars and captured our most precious dreams for the BFG to add to his collection. We don't want him to accidentally bring a trogglehumper..... OH DEAR!

Do you have any golden phizzwizards that you would like to capture in the BFG's dream jars? I bet one might have to do with your Cubs winning the World Series.

Hello Buddies!

How are you? We are doing well. We have been very busy working and keeping up with BFG. We just read The Bloodbottler.
We liked this chapter, some of us were very scared. We were afraid Sophie would get eaten. We felt bad when Sophie was in the Snozzcumber and BFG was trying to get the Bloodbottler to eat it!

We looked at using context clues to help us figure out the CRAZY words BFG uses! We started with the sentence "Are you twiddling my leg?" We compared to the saying "Are you pulling my leg?" We discovered that perhaps that was the thought of the author!

Is he nice? (Question posed after "Snatch")

After reading "Snatch" we are predicting the giant is nice. BUT, If he is so nice, why did he take Sophie our of her bed?

Mrs. Steele's class is so excited to begin out GRA journey with our buddies across America reading BFG by Roald Dahl.

We are not sure where they are from yet! But we have created some clues as to our location. We are hoping our new buddies can put on their detective hats...
